Fun Fact
Joseph Charles, Jamie's second son was born at the same home as Jamie's hero, C.H. Spurgeon where they lived in Kelvedon, England!
A bit about our Pastor
Jamie was raised in a Christian family south of London England, in a loving home. Despite rebelling against his Christian upbringing, God was at work bringing Jamie to faith. After turbulent teenage years and a colourful time serving in the British Army and their elite Parachute Regiment, Jamie was brought to faith in Christ in his early twenties.
During this time Jamie met Amy, a law student, and after a tour in Iraq 2003, they married soon after. After 8 years serving in The Forces Jamie felt it right to leave in 2006 to give back to his marriage and concentrate on his faith.

2007 was the year that saw Jamie begin full time ministry both on the leadership of an independent church in Colchester, England and as an itinerant evangelist sharing his testimony together with the Gospel in prisons, orphanages and schools. During this time he travelled around the world and was privileged to see many people come to faith.
In 2010 Jamie began theological training for pastoral ministry at a college founded by one of his heroes, Charles Spurgeon, and subsequently went on to pastor a U.K Baptist Church in the London borough of Harrow, (the most diverse borough in terms of ethnicities and religions) for almost 7 years. In early 2018, Jamie resigned from the Baptist Union and was appointed Lead Pastor of an FIEC church in Manchester, UK which saw good growth during a difficult period, including the 'pandemic'. In 2023 Jamie became Senior Pastor at Aloha Nani, where he serves today!
Jamie has been married to Amy since 2003 and together they have 5 kids both homeschooled and at a local Christian School. He is a keen Spurs fan, loves Malay food where his mom’s side is from, and dreams of being a fitness fanatic. He is also a trustee for Myanmar Proclamation Ministries (Burma) where he visits to help train bible students for church planting.

Jamie would describe his theology as baptist, reformed and evangelical… but before these titles would passionately amen the ‘Prince of Preachers’ who said “I am never ashamed to avow myself a Calvinist, I do not hesitate to take the name of Baptist, but if I am asked what is my creed. I reply it is Jesus Christ…who is the sum and substance of The Gospel, who is in himself all theology, the incarnation of every precious truth, the all-glorious personal embodiment of the way, the truth and the life."
